In the Sanatan spiritual tradition, Guru-Shakti is regarded as supreme. With the sacred blessings and divine inspiration of Satguru Awadhoot Devidas Maharaj Ji, Gurudev Laxminarayan Ji (Laxminarayan Meena, IPS) has given the “Manav Ke Sukh Ke Sutra.” These principles are not merely advisory statements, but practical guiding doctrines that provide a positive, balanced, and meaningful direction to human life.
The purpose of these sutras is to elevate individuals above external attractions and guide them toward inner peace, moral clarity, and social harmony. The path presented through simple conduct, gentle behavior, service-mindedness, and spiritual practice is easy to adopt and applicable to every individual.
On the foundation of these inspiring principles, the path toward lasting happiness, contentment, and spiritual growth in human life becomes clear and attainable.
✨ 1. Maintain Harmonious Relations with Neighbors
In social life, our first responsibility lies toward the people around us. Maintaining sweet and respectful relations with neighbors is not merely social etiquette but the foundation of mental peace.
If a mistake occurs for any reason, seeking forgiveness inwardly and restoring harmony is noble conduct. The spirit of forgiveness removes hardness from the heart and allows happiness to flow.
✨ 2. Avoid Slandering Others
Slander disturbs and pollutes the mind. Before criticizing others, we must engage in self-reflection. If, by mistake, we speak ill of someone, we should seek forgiveness from God or Guru and purify our mind.
Positive speech and restrained words shape a noble personality.
✨ 3. Practice Selfless Appreciation
Praising at least one person sincerely each day without any specific reason is a powerful spiritual discipline. It not only brings joy to the other person but also generates positive energy within us.
The spirit of appreciation reduces jealousy and strengthens goodwill.
✨ 4. Help the Helpless
There are many individuals in society who are physically, economically, or mentally helpless. Assisting them according to our capacity is true humanity.
Selfless service brings inner satisfaction, which is more lasting than any material pleasure.
✨ 5. Daily Recitation or Listening to Manav Dharma Shastra
Spiritual study is essential in daily life. Regular reading or listening to Manav Dharma Shastra brings stability of mind, wisdom, and moral clarity.
This practice inspires self-reflection, discipline, and righteous conduct, paving the way for lasting happiness.
Conclusion
“Manav Ke Sukh Ke Sutra” is not a complex philosophy but a simple and practical life policy. Sweet relationships, disciplined speech, selfless appreciation, service-mindedness, and spiritual study—upon these five pillars rest peace, contentment, and joy.
If every individual incorporates these principles into daily conduct, not only will personal life become happy, but harmony and goodwill will also expand throughout society.

Satgurudev
Awadhoot Devidas Ji was born in the village of Ghosrana in the Alwar district of Rajasthan into a Jat farmer family. His father's name was Mansukh, and his mother's name was Maharaji. From an early age, he was spiritually inclined, and at just 11 years old, he renounced his home in search of the Supreme (Brahma). He took initiation from the enlightened Guru Kajordas Ji and accepted a life of renunciation. Devidas Ji was the only disciple of Kajordas Ji. His Guru gave him the sacred Ram Mantra and instructed him to detach from worldly life and undertake intense penance. Devidas Ji lived in the dense forests of Sariska, surviving on grass and leaves while engaging in deep meditation. Later, he practiced extreme austerity for 12 years, living only on air (Vayu Ahari). Impressed by his disciplined and intense penance, a divine voice (Akashvani) granted him a boon. However, Devidas Ji, completely detached due to the power of the Guru Mantra, refused to ask for any boon. The divine voice then blessed him with immortality (Ajara-Amara), selfless devotion (Nishkaam Bhakti), and the complete realization of Brahma. He was told that from that day on, he would be known as “Awadhoot,” free from all karmic bondage and forever established in the supreme spiritual state. Upon attaining this state, Awadhoot Devidas Ji realized that energy is power, power is Brahma, Brahma is indivisible, and all of humanity is one. With this realization, he left the forests of Sariska and began traveling from village to village, spreading the message of humanity. He strongly opposed superstition and blind rituals, instead promoting true human values and spiritual wisdom in simple language. His life was completely dedicated to spiritual practice, selfless service, and devotion to his Guru. He never indulged in magical or showy behavior, and emphasized that total surrender to the Guru is the essence of spiritual practice. Everyone who came in contact with him was spiritually uplifted. Awadhoot Devidas Ji’s life is a shining example of how true devotion, discipline, and service to humanity can elevate a person to extraordinary spiritual heights and inspire countless others on the path of truth.
